As part of activities of the Minister of Forestry and Wildlife, Mr Jules Doret NDONGO in the North amd Far North Regions, Voko, in the Faro Division was not left out.
The Faro Park covers a vast area of 330,000 hectares and is home to some very rare and important wildlife species, including the derby elk, hippopotamus, forest and savannah buffalo, all categories of cats and many others.
During this visit, the Minister of Forestry and Fauna, Mr Jules Doret NDONGO, was able to appreciate the working conditions of the eco-guards present in the field and the support of the technical and financial partners, not forgetting that of the local populations. Minister Jules Doret NDONGO expressed his satisfaction with the implementation of the Faro National Park development plan, and with the efforts made by all stakeholders to curb insecurity and poaching in this protected area.
