In his speech, the Inspector General recalled the function of a management plan, which is a technical document drawn up by the administration in charge of wildlife or any other natural or legal person commissioned by it, setting out in time and space the nature and program of works and studies to be carried out in a protected area, and to which the latter is subjected to.

The objectives of this workshop are to share the contents of the draft management plan and the revised business plan for the period 2024-2028; to collect the contributions and aspirations of all stakeholders for a peaceful management of the park; and finally, to validate the draft management plan for Faro National Park at the national level.

In view of the adaptability of protected area management, the management plan will also be reviewed every five years, to ensure that it is dynamic and keeps pace with the experience gained and lessons learned during its implementation.
